I was in Myrtle Beach this weekend to celebrate the life of a friend that I wish I had just had more conversations with. He was my go to when I needed a quick writing project done. Almost always saying, “Jay, I don’t have much budget with this one…”
And he would crush the project. He was so quick at spinning a story. Even if it was for a dumb blog post or something more elaborate, he could create story with what he wrote.
Jay is another blog post that I need more time to think about and ponder.
This one, is about water pressure.
We were staying at a Hampton Inn in Myrtle Beach, and my wife told me the water pressure in the shower was the best she’d ever had at a hotel. I thought to myself, that’s a bold statement. Typically, hotel showers are horrible, and though I believe my wife and trust her, I just wasn’t sure that it was going to live up to the claim.
And then I took a shower.
It was the peak of shower pressure.
Anymore and it would have been too hard. Any less, and… well, it would be less. It was absolutely perfect.
It’s just one of those things you only know because you compare it to everything else you know. And now I find myself writing about stupid water pressure at a random Hampton Inn in Myrtle Beach. I will likely take the next step and go rank the hotel on yelp SPECIFICALLY to talk about the water pressure in room 212.
Actually, I guess I just did leave a review on google. You can read it here.
